To the editor:
On September 10th, 2011 Project New Hope held our second Voluntary Toll Road in Leicester, MA at Pleasant Street & Route 9 and Stafford Street & Pleasant Street to provide awareness about Project New Hope who offers weekend retreats for Survivors, Gold Star Families, Single and Married Veterans with education, training, and skills necessary to manage their lives after wartime service due to combat exposure that can affect work, marriage and families negatively.
I wish to thank the Project New Hope volunteers and all our local contributors from Leicester and neighboring towns and cities for their dedicated time and efforts to help.
None of this would be possible without the Board of Directors, our volunteers and contributors, who works throughout the year to make sure we are able to host Gold Star, Survivor, Single Veterans and Military families and their children retreats.
I invite you to join our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/groups/121345447875859 to help spread the word about our organization.
Project New Hope, an independent, not-for-profit organization, has provided free weekend retreats to Gold Star, Single Veterans and Military families and their children so they have an opportunity to receive the education, training, and skills necessary to manage their lives after wartime service due to combat exposure
For more information on how you can help to continue this wonderful tradition of volunteering, please contact Bill Moore at (508) 713-3362 or visit www.Projectnewhopema.org.
Sincerely,
Bill Moore
Executive Director

Today is Monday, please vote for (Project New Hope) to win a grand prize of $5,000 which will allow us to increase the amount of weekend retreats we can offer to our Gold Star, Single, Married Veterans and their families @ TheDailyLeicester.com
Our men and women in uniform have been waging war in Afghanistan and Iraq for more than a decade along with their fellow Veterans from previous wars and conflicts, their families have absorbed the impact of these conflicts--the multiple deployments, the physical and invisible injuries that result.
As we turn from the season of giving thanks to the festivities of the holidays, let us take a moment not only to honor those who serve and their families but also to consider how we might actively participate in the reintegration of these honorable men and women as they return to our communities.
Here’s how the promotion works:
All 501(c) (3) organizations based in – and serving – our territory covered by a Main Street Connect news site will be able to register and rally their supporters to vote for their organization until January 15, 2012. You can come back and vote once every day for your favorite organization (Project New Hope) in Winter Wish List. When you get to the site, click on "Winter Wish List (top Right), then go to "Check out the Contest" - register to vote and then select (Project New Hope) option and send a vote our way each day until January 15, 2012
Thank you very much
