LEICESTER, Mass. — Donning their most comfortable jammies, the Leicester Lions Club met at the Castle Restaurant Wednesday night, where the pride of community minded volunteers posed for TheDailyLeicester's Photo of the Week.

"It's nice to have a little bit of fun," said Sharon Brooks, Club treasurer, who stood in a pair of plush Lion slippers. "It's not just serious business the entire night."

Yet the group has done a lot of serious good for the town, including  caroling for seniors at Leicester Meadows this past December.

Internationally, the organization has 1.35 million members in 206 countries and geographic areas.

Locally, the Leicester Lions meet on the second & and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 P.M at Castle Restaurant.
