LEICESTER, Mass. — The Ice Fishing Derby to beneifit Leicester Little League has been cancelled due to unsafe conditions at Sargents Pond.

With the unseasonably warm weather, the ice has been too dangerous for activities like ice skating and fishing, and the local derbies planned for February have had to be cancelled. 

This would have been Leicester Little League's third annual ice fishing derby fundraiser, with proceeds to go toward supporting the program.
